Third shirt worn by Arsenal F.C. during the 2003–04 season, one of the most celebrated campaigns in football history as the club completed the Premier League season unbeaten and became forever known as “The Invincibles”.

The shirt features a striking navy base complemented by a large blue front panel, overlaid with a series of navy lines that create a distinctive geometric pattern radiating from the centre of the shirt. Red detailing on the neckline and cuffs provides a sharp contrast, resulting in one of the most unique and modern Arsenal designs of the era.

The 2003–04 campaign saw Arsène Wenger’s side achieve what no other club has managed in the Premier League era: navigating an entire 38-match league season without defeat. Arsenal finished as champions with 90 points, recording 26 wins and 12 draws while remaining unbeaten against every opponent they faced.

At the heart of the team was the sensational Thierry Henry, who enjoyed arguably the finest season of his career, scoring 39 goals in all competitions and winning the Premier League Golden Boot. Alongside him, Robert Pires, Dennis Bergkamp and Freddie Ljungberg formed one of the most feared attacking units in Europe.

The midfield was controlled by captain Patrick Vieira and athlete, whose balance of power and intelligence provided the foundation for Arsenal’s fluid style. Behind them, the defensive quartet of Ashley Cole, Sol Campbell, Kolo Touré and Lauren helped create one of the division’s strongest backlines, protected by goalkeeper Jens Lehmann.

Although used less frequently than the club’s home and away kits, this third shirt remains closely linked to one of the greatest sides English football has ever seen. Wash at 30°C maximum. Higher temperatures can damage the fabric, fade colours, and crack printed lettering.

🔄 Cycle

Use a gentle or delicate cycle only. Avoid heavy spin cycles which can distort the shirt shape.

👕 Inside Out

Always turn the shirt inside out before washing to protect the back print, badges, and any embroidery.

🧴 Detergent

Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid powder detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners as these can degrade print quality.

💨 Drying

Air dry only — lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry as heat will shrink fabric and damage prints.

🔥 Ironing

Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.

Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.

⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.
