Description

Home shirt worn by AS Roma during the 1998/99 season.

The shirt features a deep maroon base, combined with a bold orange collar accented by black and maroon striping, along with orange, white and black cuffs. An orange stripe runs down each sleeve, detailed with small continuous black Roma wolf graphics, giving the design a distinctive late-90s look that feels both vibrant and unmistakably Roman.

The 1998/99 season was an entertaining yet frustrating campaign for Roma under Zdeněk Zeman. The Giallorossi finished 5th in Serie A with 54 points, narrowly missing out on UEFA Champions League qualification by a single point. True to Zeman’s attacking philosophy, Roma were the league’s highest scorers with 69 goals, though defensive issues saw them concede 49. The club also reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup before being eliminated by Atlético Madrid, while their Coppa Italia run ended in the Round of 16. The season was also significant as Francesco Totti was officially named club captain at just 22 years old, becoming the youngest captain in Serie A history.

Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.
Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.
⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.
