Description

Away shirt worn by FC Barcelona during the 1996/97 season.

The design features a vibrant turquoise base covered in a bold geometric “tile” pattern, creating a distinctive mosaic-style look across the shirt. Scattered throughout the pattern are small red and blue tiles, subtly incorporating the club’s famous blaugrana colours into the design. The unusual pattern and bright colour palette make this one of the most unique and memorable Barcelona away kits of the 1990s.

The 1996/97 campaign was managed by Bobby Robson and proved to be a successful season for Barcelona. The club finished 2nd in La Liga and lifted three trophies: the Copa del Rey, the Supercopa de España, and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. In the European final, Barcelona defeated Paris Saint-Germain 1–0 thanks to a penalty from Ronaldo Nazário.

Ronaldo was the standout star of the season, scoring 47 goals in all competitions, while key players such as Luis Enrique, Pep Guardiola, and Hristo Stoichkov played important roles throughout the campaign.

💨 Drying
Air dry only — lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry as heat will shrink fabric and damage prints.
🔥 Ironing
Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.
Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.
⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.

Items with player printing or any customisation cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances (unless they arrive damaged, see question 2). All sales are final.
