Description

Home shirt worn by FC Barcelona during the 2006/07 season.

The design features Barcelona’s iconic vertical red and blue stripes, maintaining the club’s classic blaugrana identity. The balanced stripe pattern gives the shirt a clean and traditional aesthetic, while the club crest and sponsor branding are prominently displayed on the chest. The kit combines timeless style with the contemporary fit and detailing typical of mid-2000s football shirts, providing a strong visual link to the club’s storied history.

During the 2006/07 campaign, Barcelona were managed by Frank Rijkaard. Despite coming off a historic Champions League and La Liga double the previous season, the team faced a challenging and inconsistent campaign. Barcelona finished 2nd in La Liga, narrowly losing the title to Real Madrid CF on a head-to-head tiebreaker after both teams finished with 76 points. In the UEFA Champions League, they were eliminated in the Round of 16 by Liverpool FC on away goals, while internal inconsistencies and key injuries hampered the squad throughout the season. The team featured stars such as Ronaldinho, Lionel Messi, and Samuel Eto'o, but were unable to replicate the previous year’s successes.

A red-and-blue vertically striped home shirt, representing FC Barcelona during the turbulent 2006/07 season under Frank Rijkaard.

Washing Instructions

Care Instructions To keep your shirt looking its best for years to come, please follow these guidelines carefully.

🌡️ Temperature

Wash at 30°C maximum. Higher temperatures can damage the fabric, fade colours, and crack printed lettering.

🔄 Cycle

Use a gentle or delicate cycle only. Avoid heavy spin cycles which can distort the shirt shape.

👕 Inside Out

Always turn the shirt inside out before washing to protect the back print, badges, and any embroidery.

🧴 Detergent

Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid powder detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners as these can degrade print quality.

💨 Drying

Air dry only — lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry as heat will shrink fabric and damage prints.

🔥 Ironing

Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.

Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.

⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.
