Home shirt worn by Barcelona during the 2016/17 season, the final campaign of Luis Enrique’s highly successful three-year tenure and the last season of the legendary MSN attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez and Neymar. The shirt was worn throughout a campaign that delivered two trophies while producing some of the most memorable moments in the club’s modern history.

The design features broad vertical stripes alternating between vibrant blue and deep red, with subtle tonal pinstripes woven within the larger blocks to add depth and texture. Inspired by Barcelona's iconic early-1990s designs, these finer details taper towards the lower part of the shirt. Royal blue raglan sleeves complement the striped body, while a streamlined V-neck collar is finished with fine red trim. The traditional Barcelona crest sits proudly on the left chest with gold detailing, complemented by matching gold branding on the opposite side.

The 2016/17 campaign began with Barcelona lifting the Supercopa de España, defeating Sevilla 5–0 on aggregate. In La Liga, Barça finished second with 90 points despite an extraordinary 116 goals, with Lionel Messi's last-minute winner in a thrilling 3–2 victory over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu becoming one of the defining moments of the season.

In Europe, Barcelona produced one of the greatest comebacks in football history. After suffering a 4–0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie, Barça returned to Camp Nou and completed an astonishing 6–1 comeback, securing their place in the quarter-finals. Their European campaign ultimately ended against Juventus, who won 3–0 on aggregate. Domestically, Barcelona successfully defended the Copa del Rey, defeating Deportivo Alavés 3–1 in the final to claim the trophy for a third consecutive year.

Lionel Messi led the way with 54 goals in all competitions, including 37 in La Liga, while the MSN trio enjoyed their final season together before Neymar's world-record transfer to Paris Saint-Germain. Although Barcelona narrowly missed out on the league title and European crown, the 2016/17 season remains memorable for its two trophies, extraordinary attacking football and the unforgettable drama of La Remontada.

Wash at 30°C maximum. Higher temperatures can damage the fabric, fade colours, and crack printed lettering.

🔄 Cycle

Use a gentle or delicate cycle only. Avoid heavy spin cycles which can distort the shirt shape.

👕 Inside Out

Always turn the shirt inside out before washing to protect the back print, badges, and any embroidery.

🧴 Detergent

Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid powder detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners as these can degrade print quality.

💨 Drying

Air dry only — lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry as heat will shrink fabric and damage prints.

🔥 Ironing

Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.

Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.

⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.
