Home shirt worn by Boca Juniors during the 1981–82 season.

The shirt features Boca Juniors’ classic deep blue base, defined by a bold horizontal yellow stripe running across the middle of the chest, one of the club’s most recognisable and traditional design elements. Yellow detailing down the sleeves adds balance and contrast, reinforcing the iconic blue-and-gold identity. The simple, strong layout reflects the classic football kit style of the early 1980s, where clean colour blocking and club identity were the main focus.

The 1981 season is one of the most celebrated in Boca Juniors’ history, as Diego Maradona led the club to the Metropolitano Championship under manager Silvio Marzolini. Boca won the title after a tense battle with Ferro Carril Oeste, finishing top of the table with 50 points and securing the championship with a decisive final-day draw against Racing Club. Maradona, alongside Miguel Ángel Brindisi, formed one of the most iconic attacking partnerships in the club’s history, driving Boca’s success throughout the campaign. In the Nacional tournament, Boca reached the quarter-finals before being eliminated by Vélez Sársfield.

Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid powder detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners as these can degrade print quality.
💨 Drying
Air dry only — lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry as heat will shrink fabric and damage prints.
🔥 Ironing
Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.
Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.
⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.

Items with player printing or any customisation cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances (unless they arrive damaged, see question 2). All sales are final.

If we confirm the issue, we will send you a free replacement shirt (shipping included) at no extra cost, and you can keep the original damaged item.
