Description

Home shirt worn by Celtic during their 1991/92 season.

The shirt features Celtic's green and white hoops, with the green bands carrying a subtle tonal print of repeated lettering and pennant shapes. Angular raglan panels at the shoulders step the hoops into a wide chevron across the chest and back, and a jagged black and white flash marks one sleeve. A white polo collar with a short striped placket completes the design.

This shirt was worn in Liam Brady's first season as Celtic manager, after he replaced Billy McNeill in June 1991. Celtic finished third in the Premier Division on 62 points, behind champions Rangers (72) and Heart of Midlothian (63), with Charlie Nicholas top scoring on 25 goals in all competitions. In the UEFA Cup, Celtic lost 5-1 away to Neuchatel Xamax, then the club's heaviest European defeat, with Hossam Hassan scoring four. A 1-0 win in the return leg wasn't enough, and Celtic went out 5-2 on aggregate. Domestically, a 2-0 league win over Rangers on 21 March 1992 raised hopes, but ten days later Rangers won the Scottish Cup semi-final 1-0 at Hampden and went on to lift the trophy.

A traditional hooped home shirt with a jagged flash and angular shoulder panels, worn by Celtic in a first Brady season that showed flashes of promise but ended in frustration against Rangers.

Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid powder detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners as these can degrade print quality.
💨 Drying
Air dry only — lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry as heat will shrink fabric and damage prints.
🔥 Ironing
Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.
Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.
⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.

We operate a strict no-returns and no-exchanges policy. We do not accept returns for any reason, including change of mind, wrong size, or personal preference. Items with player printing or any customisation cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances (unless they arrive damaged, see question 2). All sales are final.
