Description

Home shirt worn by Celtic during their 2001/03 seasons.

The shirt features Celtic's traditional green and white hoops, carried across the short sleeves and interrupted by plain white panels at the shoulders and down each side. A green V neck with black trim sits at the collar, and matching black piping finishes the sleeve cuffs and the curved hem.

This shirt covers two contrasting seasons under Martin O'Neill. In 2001/02 Celtic retained the league title, setting SPL records with 103 points and 33 wins, conceding only 18 goals and losing just one league match. The following season brought the club's first European final since 1970, with Celtic beating Blackburn, Celta Vigo, Stuttgart, Liverpool and Boavista on the way to Seville. On 21 May 2003 they met José Mourinho's Porto at the Estadio Olímpico, where Henrik Larsson scored twice, including his 200th Celtic goal, to haul his side level on two occasions before Derlei won it 3-2 in extra time. Around 80,000 Celtic fans travelled to Spain for the final, earning a FIFA Fair Play Award for their conduct. Domestically, Celtic lost the 2002/03 league title to Rangers on goal difference on the final day.

💨 Drying
Air dry only — lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry as heat will shrink fabric and damage prints.
🔥 Ironing
Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.
Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.
⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.
