Description

Home shirt worn by China during their 2002–2004 international period.

The shirt uses a bold red base with a white V neck collar and white shoulder stripes running down each sleeve, giving it a clean, high contrast look typical of the era. A tournament emblem sits on the left sleeve, marking the shirt's connection to the 2002 FIFA World Cup, while the wide white cuffs and mesh side panels add a sporty, functional finish. This shirt is tied to a genuinely historic moment for Chinese football: the country's first and, to this day, only appearance at a FIFA World Cup. Under coach Bora Milutinović, China qualified for the 2002 World Cup in Korea and Japan by winning their Asian qualifying group unbeaten, sparking huge excitement back home. The tournament itself proved a tough introduction to the world stage, with China placed in a difficult group alongside Brazil, Turkey and Costa Rica. Use a gentle or delicate cycle only. Avoid heavy spin cycles which can distort the shirt shape.

👕 Inside Out

Always turn the shirt inside out before washing to protect the back print, badges, and any embroidery.

🧴 Detergent

Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid powder detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners as these can degrade print quality.

💨 Drying

Air dry only — lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry as heat will shrink fabric and damage prints.

🔥 Ironing

Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.

Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.

⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.

1. Can I return or exchange my retro shirt?

We operate a strict no-returns and no-exchanges policy. We do not accept returns for any reason, including change of mind, wrong size, or personal preference. Items with player printing or any customisation cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances (unless they arrive damaged, see question 2). All sales are final.

2. What happens if my shirt arrives damaged?

Please inspect your order immediately and contact us right away at [email protected] with your order number and clear photos of the damage.
If we confirm the issue, we will send you a free replacement shirt (shipping included) at no extra cost, and you can keep the original damaged item.

3. How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are prepared and dispatched within 3–4 business days.
UK delivery after dispatch: typically 5–7 business days.
International delivery after dispatch: typically 10–14 business days.

You will receive a shipping confirmation with full tracking as soon as your order leaves our warehouse. All shipping is completely free worldwide.

4. What size should I order?

5. What if my order doesn’t arrive?

Monitor your tracking regularly. If you believe delivery has failed, first contact the courier yourself (using the tracking link we sent you) to reschedule delivery or arrange collection.
Then email us at [email protected]. We will investigate and confirm whether the package is lost (this usually takes 1–2 weeks after the scheduled delivery date). If confirmed lost, we will send you a free replacement (shipping included) at no extra cost.
