Away shirt worn by England national football team during the 1966 season, most famously in the FIFA World Cup Final against West Germany national football team. Worn by legendary figures including Bobby Charlton, Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters and Gordon Banks, this iconic red jersey became the shirt in which England achieved the greatest moment in their footballing history.

The design is the definition of simplicity, featuring a plain, vibrant red base with no unnecessary patterns or detailing. Managed by Alf Ramsey, England hosted and won the 1966 FIFA World Cup, culminating in a historic final at Wembley Stadium on 30 July 1966. Wearing their famous red away shirt due to a colour clash, England defeated West Germany 4–2 after extra time in one of the most iconic matches ever played. Geoff Hurst scored the only hat-trick in the history of a men's FIFA World Cup Final, while Martin Peters also found the net. Captain Bobby Moore famously lifted the Jules Rimet Trophy, securing England's first and only FIFA World Cup title.

👕 Inside Out

Always turn the shirt inside out before washing to protect the back print, badges, and any embroidery.

🧴 Detergent

Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid powder detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners as these can degrade print quality.

💨 Drying

Air dry only — lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry as heat will shrink fabric and damage prints.

🔥 Ironing

Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.

Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.

⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.

1. Can I return or exchange my retro shirt?

We operate a strict no-returns and no-exchanges policy. We do not accept returns for any reason, including change of mind, wrong size, or personal preference. Items with player printing or any customisation cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances (unless they arrive damaged, see question 2). All sales are final.

2. What happens if my shirt arrives damaged?

Please inspect your order immediately and contact us right away at [email protected] with your order number and clear photos of the damage.
If we confirm the issue, we will send you a free replacement shirt (shipping included) at no extra cost, and you can keep the original damaged item.

3. How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are prepared and dispatched within 3–4 business days.
UK delivery after dispatch: typically 5–7 business days.
International delivery after dispatch: typically 10–14 business days.

You will receive a shipping confirmation with full tracking as soon as your order leaves our warehouse. All shipping is completely free worldwide.
