Description
Retro goalkeeper shirt worn by England at UEFA Euro 1996, most famously by David Seaman during the tournament on home soil.
Featuring a distinctive bold patterned design in vibrant colours, this mid-1990s goalkeeper kit stood out with its striking visual style, reflecting the era’s adventurous approach to GK shirts. The dynamic graphics, combined with the classic fit and prominent badge placement, gave it a powerful and unmistakable presence between the posts.
Seaman played a crucial role in England’s impressive run to the semi-finals, delivering confident performances throughout the competition. His composure, shot-stopping ability, and leadership were vital as the Three Lions progressed deep into the tournament before being eliminated on penalties by Germany in the semi-final.
Iconic, memorable and forever associated with England’s Euro ’96 campaign, the goalkeeper shirt worn by David Seaman remains one of the most recognisable kits of the era, symbolising both tournament drama and home-nation pride.
