Away shirt worn by Fiorentina during the 1992/93 season.

The shirt features a white base with a bold purple geometric pattern across the top of the chest and sleeves, creating one of the most distinctive and controversial designs in Fiorentina’s history. The striking pattern gave the kit a unique visual identity, but it also became infamous after being banned from use due to the unintended resemblance created by the design.

The 1992/93 season remains one of the most notorious in Fiorentina’s history. Despite a talented squad featuring Gabriel Batistuta, Stefan Effenberg, and Brian Laudrup, the club collapsed from 2nd place at Christmas to finish 16th in Serie A, suffering relegation on goal difference. Managerial instability played a huge role, with four different coaches taking charge across the campaign, making the away shirt an especially memorable piece from a chaotic and dramatic season.

🧴 Detergent
Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid powder detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners as these can degrade print quality.
💨 Drying
Air dry only — lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry as heat will shrink fabric and damage prints.
🔥 Ironing
Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.
Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.
⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.
