Grêmio secured the Campeonato Brasileiro title after an unforgettable final against Portuguesa. Following a 2–0 defeat in the first leg, the club produced a dramatic comeback victory in the return fixture at the Estádio Olímpico, winning the championship due to their superior regular-season record. The club also lifted the Recopa Sudamericana with a commanding 4–1 victory over Independiente in Japan and won the Campeonato Gaúcho, further cementing their dominance during the period.

The squad featured several legendary players associated with this golden era. Paulo Nunes finished as the Brasileirão’s top scorer with 16 goals and became one of the defining attacking figures of the decade. Goalkeeper Danrlei remained a key leader at the back, while defenders Mauro Galvão and Adilson Batista provided defensive solidity. Wide defender Francisco Arce also played an important role with his technical quality and attacking contributions from defence.

💨 Drying

Air dry only — lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry as heat will shrink fabric and damage prints.

🔥 Ironing

Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.

Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.

⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.
