The 1997 and 1998 seasons were pivotal years in LA Galaxy’s rise as one of the leading clubs in Major League Soccer. In 1997, the Galaxy recorded a 16–16 regular-season record, finishing 2nd in the Western Conference before falling to Dallas Burn in the Conference Semi-finals. The arrival of head coach Octavio Zambrano during that campaign helped reshape the team into a more aggressive attacking side.

That transformation paid off in 1998, when LA Galaxy delivered a dominant regular season, finishing 1st in the Western Conference with a 24–8 record and winning the Supporters’ Shield. The team scored a then-record 85 goals and reached the Western Conference Finals before losing to eventual champions Chicago Fire. Standout performers included Cobi Jones, who scored 19 goals and earned a place in the MLS Best XI, playmaker Mauricio Cienfuegos, and the charismatic goalkeeper Jorge Campos.

Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.
Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.
⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.
