Description

Retro home shirt worn by Northern Ireland between 1977 and 1982, most famously at the 1982 FIFA World Cup and during the closing chapter of George Best’s international career.

The design featured a classic green base with white detailing, staying true to Northern Ireland’s traditional colours. Clean white trim framed the collar and sleeves, while the simple crest sat proudly on the chest, giving the shirt a timeless late-70s, early-80s feel. Its understated style perfectly reflected the grit and unity of the side that would go on to make history in Spain.

The 1982 World Cup remains one of Northern Ireland’s greatest achievements. Against the odds, they topped a group featuring hosts Spain, highlighted by a famous 1–0 victory over the tournament favourites, despite playing much of the match with ten men. 🧴 Detergent
Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid powder detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners as these can degrade print quality.
💨 Drying
Air dry only — lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry as heat will shrink fabric and damage prints.
🔥 Ironing
Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.
Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.
⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.

We operate a strict no-returns and no-exchanges policy. We do not accept returns for any reason, including change of mind, wrong size, or personal preference. Items with player printing or any customisation cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances (unless they arrive damaged, see question 2). All sales are final.

2. What happens if my shirt arrives damaged?

If we confirm the issue, we will send you a free replacement shirt (shipping included) at no extra cost, and you can keep the original damaged item.

3. How long will my order take to arrive?
