The 1994 season stands as one of the most successful in Palmeiras’ history, as the club achieved a remarkable “Bi-Campeonato” by winning both the Campeonato Brasileiro and the Campeonato Paulista for the second consecutive year. Under the management of Vanderlei Luxemburgo and backed by the influential Parmalat partnership, Palmeiras assembled one of the strongest squads in Brazilian domestic football history.

In the Campeonato Brasileiro, Palmeiras secured their 8th national title by defeating rivals Corinthians in the final, winning 4–2 on aggregate after a 3–1 first-leg victory and a 1–1 draw in the second. They were equally dominant in the Campeonato Paulista, finishing with 20 wins in 30 matches to retain the state championship.

In continental competition, Palmeiras reached the Round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores, with one of the standout moments being a historic 6–1 victory over Boca Juniors in the group stage, underlining the team’s attacking strength.

The squad featured a wealth of talent, including Edmundo, Evair, Zinho, and César Sampaio, forming the backbone of a side that combined flair, power, and consistency.
