Description

Away shirt worn by Rangers during their 1982/84 seasons.

The shirt uses a white base marked with fine navy and red pinstripes running the full length of the body, mirroring the design of the home shirt but with the colours reversed. A royal blue V neck collar and matching cuffs provide the only block colour against the pinstriped body.

Rangers wore this shirt through a turbulent spell that brought mixed fortunes on the pitch. The 1982/83 season ended trophyless, with defeats in both cup finals, including a Scottish Cup final loss to an Aberdeen side celebrating their European triumph. The following season began poorly enough that manager John Greig resigned in October 1983, with Jock Wallace returning to the club soon after. Despite the upheaval, Rangers won all six of their group matches in the League Cup and went on to beat Celtic in the final, giving Wallace early silverware in his second spell in charge, even as the side finished a disappointing fourth in the league.

The shirt's classic pinstriped design ran through a season of managerial change and inconsistent form, salvaged by League Cup success under Jock Wallace.

💨 Drying
Air dry only — lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry as heat will shrink fabric and damage prints.
🔥 Ironing
Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.
Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.
⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.

Items with player printing or any customisation cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances (unless they arrive damaged, see question 2). All sales are final.
