This period was one of resurgence for Real Betis. Following relegation in 2000, the club spent just one season in the Segunda División, finishing 2nd and securing immediate promotion back to La Liga. Star striker Gabriel Amato led the attack with 16 goals, while academy graduate Joaquín emerged as a permanent fixture in the starting eleven.

Back in the top flight for the 2001/02 season under manager Juande Ramos, Betis defied expectations by finishing 6th in La Liga with 59 points, securing UEFA Cup qualification. Despite a disappointing early exit in the Copa del Rey against AD Ceuta, the campaign was highlighted by Joaquín’s breakout season, earning him a place in Spain’s 2002 World Cup squad.

🔥 Ironing
Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.
Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.
⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.
