Description
Third shirt worn by Real Madrid during the 1997/98 season.
The kit features a striking geometric pattern in black, white, and purple, creating a bold, modern look that stands out from the traditional white home colors. A crisp white collar adds contrast and sophistication, completing a visually dynamic design that reflects the experimental styles of the late 1990s.
During the 1997/98 season, Real Madrid, managed by Jupp Heynckes, achieved historic European success by winning their seventh UEFA Champions League, defeating Juventus 1–0 in the final, with Predrag Mijatović scoring the decisive goal. The club also won the Supercopa de España, overcoming FC Barcelona 5–3 on aggregate. Domestically, Madrid finished 4th in La Liga with 63 points and were eliminated from the Copa del Rey in the Round of 16 by Alavés.
