The 1992/93 season was a fascinating transitional period for River Plate, overseen by legendary manager Daniel Passarella. Competing in the split Argentine season, the club finished 2nd in the Apertura, narrowly missing out to arch-rivals Boca Juniors, who ended an 11-year title drought, and 3rd in the Clausura, behind Vélez Sarsfield and Independiente. River also took part in the 1993 Copa Libertadores but were eliminated in the group stage by Newell’s Old Boys and Paraguayan sides Olimpia and Cerro Porteño. The squad had some emerging talents, most notably Ariel Ortega, who began to establish himself as the creative heartbeat of the team and the heir to River Plate’s attacking legacy.

Always turn the shirt inside out before washing to protect the back print, badges, and any embroidery.

🧴 Detergent

Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid powder detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners as these can degrade print quality.

💨 Drying

Air dry only — lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry as heat will shrink fabric and damage prints.

🔥 Ironing

Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.

Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.

⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.

1. Can I return or exchange my retro shirt?

We operate a strict no-returns and no-exchanges policy. We do not accept returns for any reason, including change of mind, wrong size, or personal preference. Items with player printing or any customisation cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances (unless they arrive damaged, see question 2). All sales are final.

2. What happens if my shirt arrives damaged?

Please inspect your order immediately and contact us right away at [email protected] with your order number and clear photos of the damage.
If we confirm the issue, we will send you a free replacement shirt (shipping included) at no extra cost, and you can keep the original damaged item.

3. How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are prepared and dispatched within 3–4 business days.
UK delivery after dispatch: typically 5–7 business days.
International delivery after dispatch: typically 10–14 business days.

You will receive a shipping confirmation with full tracking as soon as your order leaves our warehouse. All shipping is completely free worldwide.
