Home shirt worn by River Plate during the 2007–2010 seasons.

The shirt features River Plate’s timeless white base, defined by the club’s iconic diagonal red sash running across the chest, one of the most recognisable designs in world football. Black detailing runs down the sleeves, giving the shirt a modern contrast while still respecting the club’s traditional identity. The 2007–2010 period was one of extreme highs and lows for River Plate, marking both their last domestic league title before a historic decline and the beginning of one of the most turbulent eras in the club’s history. Under Diego Simeone, River won the Clausura 2008 championship, led by players such as Radamel Falcao, Diego Buonanotte, and Ariel Ortega. However, the success was followed by a shocking collapse, with the team finishing bottom of the 2008 Apertura just months after lifting the trophy. In the following seasons, inconsistent performances under managers including Néstor Gorosito and Leonardo Astrada saw the club drift down the table and severely damage their relegation coefficient, setting up the crisis that would eventually lead to their first-ever relegation in 2011.

Always turn the shirt inside out before washing to protect the back print, badges, and any embroidery.

🧴 Detergent

Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid powder detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners as these can degrade print quality.

💨 Drying

Air dry only — lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry as heat will shrink fabric and damage prints.

🔥 Ironing

Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.

Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.

⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.

1. Can I return or exchange my retro shirt?

We operate a strict no-returns and no-exchanges policy. We do not accept returns for any reason, including change of mind, wrong size, or personal preference. Items with player printing or any customisation cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances (unless they arrive damaged, see question 2). All sales are final.

2. What happens if my shirt arrives damaged?

Please inspect your order immediately and contact us right away at [email protected] with your order number and clear photos of the damage.
If we confirm the issue, we will send you a free replacement shirt (shipping included) at no extra cost, and you can keep the original damaged item.

3. How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are prepared and dispatched within 3–4 business days.
UK delivery after dispatch: typically 5–7 business days.
International delivery after dispatch: typically 10–14 business days.

You will receive a shipping confirmation with full tracking as soon as your order leaves our warehouse. All shipping is completely free worldwide.
