Description

Away shirt worn by Valencia CF during the 1980/81 season, a campaign highlighted by continental success.

The kit features bold red and yellow vertical stripes on the body, accented with blue shoulders and a blue collar, creating a striking combination of Valencia’s traditional colors with vivid contrast. The design is both classic and distinctive, making it easily recognizable in domestic and European competitions.

The 1980/81 season was historic for Valencia under Miljan Miljanić. The club secured its first UEFA Super Cup title, defeating Nottingham Forest on away goals. After a 2–1 loss in the first leg at the City Ground, Valencia won 1–0 at the Mestalla Stadium (then Estadi Luis Casanova) with a goal from Fernando Morena. In European Cup Winners’ Cup play, the defending champions were eliminated in the Round of 16 by eventual winners Carl Zeiss Jena. Domestically, Valencia finished 6th in La Liga with 17 wins, 8 draws, and 9 losses, while their Copa del Rey run ended in the Round of 32 with a 3–2 aggregate loss to Sevilla.

Use a gentle or delicate cycle only. Avoid heavy spin cycles which can distort the shirt shape.

👕 Inside Out

Always turn the shirt inside out before washing to protect the back print, badges, and any embroidery.

🧴 Detergent

Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid powder detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners as these can degrade print quality.

💨 Drying

Air dry only — lay flat or hang away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry as heat will shrink fabric and damage prints.

🔥 Ironing

Do not iron directly over printed areas or badges. If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a low heat setting.

Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Wash separately from items with zips or rough textures that could snag the fabric.

⚠️ Back Print & Badge Care Printed names, numbers, and woven badges are particularly sensitive to heat and abrasion. Always wash inside out, never iron over them directly, and avoid contact with rough surfaces during washing.

1. Can I return or exchange my retro shirt?

We operate a strict no-returns and no-exchanges policy. We do not accept returns for any reason, including change of mind, wrong size, or personal preference. Items with player printing or any customisation cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances (unless they arrive damaged, see question 2). All sales are final.

2. What happens if my shirt arrives damaged?

Please inspect your order immediately and contact us right away at [email protected] with your order number and clear photos of the damage.
If we confirm the issue, we will send you a free replacement shirt (shipping included) at no extra cost, and you can keep the original damaged item.

3. How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are prepared and dispatched within 3–4 business days.
UK delivery after dispatch: typically 5–7 business days.
International delivery after dispatch: typically 10–14 business days.

You will receive a shipping confirmation with full tracking as soon as your order leaves our warehouse. All shipping is completely free worldwide.

4. What size should I order?

Monitor your tracking regularly. If you believe delivery has failed, first contact the courier yourself (using the tracking link we sent you) to reschedule delivery or arrange collection.
Then email us at [email protected]. We will investigate and confirm whether the package is lost (this usually takes 1–2 weeks after the scheduled delivery date). If confirmed lost, we will send you a free replacement (shipping included) at no extra cost.
